BUSINESS INCENTIVE SCHEME FOR NEW BUSINESS
Concessions will apply to a business for a period of 5 (five) years. In the event of a change of ownership / lease occurring before the full concession period has expired, the concessions enjoyed by the business, will continue for the remaining term.
(i) 20% Discount off the standard Tariff for 5 (five) years. (ii) No charge on basic service connection, but the developer is liable for the cost of providing and installing cables and Council owned equipment on the consumers= premises.
No charge on connections. (Where applicable)
No charge in respect of connections. (Where applicable)
1) Factory up to 2000 square metres
A standard availability tariff waived for (5) five years.@
2) Factory larger than 2000 square metres
AStandard availability tariff for the weekly removal of one 1,75 cubic meter container of inert industrial waste, waived for (5) five years.
Refund of Building Plan Submission fee. (Where applicable)
100% Rebate in the first year, on new buildings erected, decreasing by 33a per annum thereafter. There is no rates rebate on the land value.
Any other concession not mentioned above, but that is critical to the operation of the new business, will be considered by the Investment Facilitation Team.
BUSINESS INCENTIVE SCHEME FOR EXPANDING BUSINESSES
The business must consume a minimum of 25% more electricity than the average consumption of the previous twelve months.
3) 20% Discount off the standard Tariff in respect of additional energy consumed and demand taken for 5 (five) years.
(iii) No charge on basic service connection, but the developer is liable for the cost of providing and installing cables and Council owned equipment on the consumers= premises (Where applicable).

No charge in respect of connections (Where applicable).
Refund of Building Plan Submission fee (Where applicable).

for the expansion, decreasing by 33a % per annum thereafter.
