CALL FOR PROSPECTIVE SUPPLIERS OF GOODS AND SERVICES
ANNUAL REGISTRATION OF SUPPLIERS ON THE MSUNDUZI MUNICIPALITY'S DATABASE
As per section 14 of the Municipal Supply Chain Management Regulations, the Msunduzi Municipality hereby invites prospective suppliers of goods, services and works to register on the supplier's database (including all specialist service providers). Only service providers who are in possession of their Original Valid Tax Clearance Certificate will be considered for registration, notwithstanding the fact that services providers shall also be required to fully comply with other requirements as stated in the registration form.
Service Providers who are already registered on the Municipality's database are hereby advised to re-submit their latest information: B-BBEE status certificate, L1 & L2 Exempted Micro Enterprises and Qualifying Small Enterprise must be complemented by a sworn affidavit, as per paragraph 4 of the Government Gazette No. 36928; Original Tax Clearance Certificates; CIPC Documents; original Bank Confirmation letter and contact details to be updated on the database.
For construction, civil engineering, Electrical and Plumbing Works, Vendors must be registered with the relevant statutory body i.e. CIDB, ECB, IOPSA etc. Certified proof of such registration must accompany the registration form. Accordingly, service providers for catering services are required to submit together with the registration form a certified copy of their CERTIFICATE OF HEALTH obtained from the relevant health department. Failure to comply with these provisions shall lead to the service provider's registration form being declared void.
Supplier Database Registration Forms may be collected from the Supply Chain Management Unit, 5th Floor, A.S. Chetty Centre, 333 Church Street, Pietermaritzburg or Downloaded from the Municipality's Website at www.msunduzi.gov.za.
